The Cry of Tin - Project Outline

The Cry of Tin was a 3 year project run by Cornwall Songwriters to raise awareness of Cornwall's Industrial Heritage through a musical documentary show with supporting book & CD. The show comprised 90 minutes of powerful documentary narrative & drama linked with specially written songs. (A detailed artistic prospectus is available separately.) The show will tour arts centres, festivals, & heritage sites in Cornwall, & areas with similar heritage and sociology such as South Wales & Yorkshire. Local radio performance is proposed. The show will subsequently be offered for performance by schools & community groups.
